?All Stars. Fox's MLB All-Star Game drew 10.9 million viewers Tuesday, down a tick from last year to a recent low. ESPN's ESPY Awards Wednesday drew 2.4 million, up from last year's 2 million, while Showtime's second-season opener of The Franchise was low with 78,000.

?Badnews. Sunday's season opener of AMC's Breaking Bad won 2.9 million viewers, a series high (even without Dish subscribers), besting USA's Political Animals (a subpar 2.6 million). But A&E's Longmire beat both, as the Western's seventh episode set its own high with 4.5 million.

?Oh, brother. The 14th opener of CBS' summer staple Big Brother (7.2 million viewers Thursday) was down from last year's 7.9 million; Sunday's episode drew 6.2 million.

?Other starts. TNT's final season of The Closer (6.1 million viewers), Perception (5.6 million, both Monday) and Leverage (3.4 million Sunday); USA's Covert Affairs (3.5 million) and White Collar (3.2 million, both Tuesday); Tru's Hardcore Pawn (2.5 million Tuesday); ABC's NY Med (5.5 million) and Trust Us With Your Life (3.3 million, both Tuesday).
